Upcycled black tray

Inexpensive and scratched up black tray from thrift store.  FLAT black paint is a nice bonus!!  Easier to paint over.

I added some little wood ‘feet’ to raise it up a bit.  (glued on with e6000)

Let the e6000 cure overnight before painting.

Two coats of paint, then some quality time with the orbital sander.

Selected a stencil that fit the inside area of the tray.

Done!
