Last Christmas crafts of the year

Finished up a few more little Christmas things, and took them to Stars:

12.12.12 projects Stars 060This is a second version of the same vintage candle holder.  I just happened to find another one like I had, and decided to do a few PINK Christmas things; to see how they sell.

12.12.12 projects Stars 078If I had this one to do over, I’d have NOT put the pink snowflakes on the front!   I also tied some sheer ribbon around the neck.  (forgot to take another pic after that though!)

12.12.12 projects Stars 055A couple more of the tea stained fabric covered boxes; these two topped with feather birds with gold glitter crowns.

12.12.12 projects Stars 062Small square apothecary jar ‘snow globe’.

12.12.12 projects Stars 061Squirt a fair amount of glue on the inside bottom of the jar; position your trees then sprinkle in snow.

12.12.12 projects Stars 063

12.12.12 projects Stars 064Added a satin ribbon and little metal tag I had on hand.

12.12.12 projects Stars 100A smaller one in a cork topped spice jar and a couple on top on old salt shakers.

12.12.12 projects Stars 065Vintage candle holder and a brush tree spray painted gold.

12.12.12 projects Stars 066I just stuffed the candle hole with paper to get a flat surface to glue the tree into place on.

12.12.12 projects Stars 070Some nests with glittered eggs glued atop little gift boxes.

12.12.12 projects Stars 073Tree shaped jars with a tree and snow inside.

12.12.12 projects Stars 074

12.12.12 projects Stars 081More nests with glittered eggs.

12.12.12 projects Stars 080And some that I glittered white and added a red berry sprig to; all bagged up to sell.

12.12.12 projects Stars 099Some pretty new colors of the little birds with crowns.

All of those things and a lot more every day stuff just re-stocked at Stars.

Time to pack away the Christmas craft supplies and get started on Valentine stuff!!

Spring has SPRUNG at Sophie’s Cottage!

 SPRING 2008

The weather was soooooooooooooo amazingly wonderful on Sunday and Monday, I couldn’t keep myself from going FULL ON spring in the store!

Michael planted some colorful primroses in the outside flower pots.  (my Valentines day surprise!)

The front window is filled with bunnies and flower pots.

More bunnies inside!  Bunny wreaths.  Bunny garden stakes.  Bouncey bunnies.  Rocking bunnies . . . .

And of course, an Easter TREE!

Giant handpainted paper mache eggs.

Little glittery eggs.

And of course, GRUBBY eggs!

And how cute ate these little egg shaped wood bowls?!?!?!  I was so tickled when I found these at the thrift store.  Been waiting patiently for spring to come so I could paint them up and put them out.

Little ‘decorative’ chocolate bunny.
