These unfinished wood table leg pieces Michael brought home were ‘a little chewed up’ around the top edges, (sorry! Forgot to take a BEFORE pic!) But I remedied that by just rounding out the top curves on the best sander.
I added a beveled wood plaque (purchased at craft store) to the top and bottom; but it still needed more ‘weight’ at the bottom. So I added a hunk of 2-6 and another, bigger beveled craft plaque. You can see the three separate pieces at the bottom.
I painted them PINK and added some pretty brown details with foam stamps.
My initial thought was to use these as candle pedestals, but in a flash or creativity they became stands for a crown and a birdcage.
Not a very good picture of the one with the little crown on top! It’s just to the right of the three tiered stand.
