What I did on my blogging vacation . . .

NOT MUCH!!!

This reminds o me of when I had to write essays on the first day of school, about what I did on my summer vacation. We never went anywhere or did anything special over summer vacation.  ‘Getting’ to go to summer school (for FUN!!) was about it!  Back then, summer school (elementary grades) was NOT for academic reasons.  Mostly just a way for the parents to keep the kids out of the way.  That, and Vacation Bible school was IT!!!

So, for the last month or so whilst I’ve not been blogging, I’ve kept busy, but not with anything terribly exciting or blogworthy.  I’m really TRYING to ‘craft more’ and SPEND less when it comes to procuring product for our mall spaces and shows.  And since I was soooooooooooo far behind on Christmas crafting, I just pretty much ‘skipped ahead’ to working on Valentine’s stuff.

So I’ve just been sitting in front of the TV, and watching  listening to a lot of court TV while I did hand stitching.  Lots of Lifetime Christmas movies too.  And if I hear that one commercial touting “A free gourmet box of chocolates with purchase..” ONE more time, I am going to SCREAM.  Bad grammar drives me NUTs, and on a TV commercial, no less?!?!?!  ARGH!  Is it not the CHOCOLATES that are ‘gourmet'”  The BOX isn’t gourmet!  Come on ad people!  I KNOW you make BIG money.  Can’t you at least speak proper English!?!?!

So, here’s the fruits of my recent labors:

I haven’t counted how many I’ve made since I was at 40.  The box below is FULL of felt hearts (not including the bigger quilt hearts) ; so I’m thinking a little over 200.
